Who You Are:
You’re a systems and network engineer who thrives at the intersection of scale, automation, and reliability. You have experience across Linux or Windows platforms, cloud and on-prem networking, and security-focused infrastructure. You care about performance, simplicity, and building platforms that just work. You think in code, design for resilience, and troubleshoot with curiosity. You see infrastructure as a product, not just plumbing.
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshooting and maintaining Linux servers
- Working with Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, Meraki, and Zscaler for network operations
- Diagnosing hardware issues with servers, firewalls, and networking gear
- Managing and securing AWS and Azure infrastructure
- Maintaining VPNs, firewalls, and overall network security
- Keeping an eye on system and network performance using monitoring tools
- Managing support tickets and ensuring issues are resolved quickly
- Handling escalations during Japan working hours
- Visiting the Japan data center as needed for on-site troubleshooting
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Strong networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewall policies)
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure
- Understanding of network security, VPNs, and firewalls
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting (servers, network devices, etc.)
- Some exposure to observability and monitoring tools
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage priorities
Bonus Points:
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
- Knowledge of automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto, or Zscaler
- Previous data center experience
