Who You Are: 

GalaxyOne is seeking an experienced Mortgage Sales Manager who can serve dual roles as both a loan originator and a qualifying individual for mortgage broker licensing. This position focuses on providing seamless digital mortgage solutions to GalaxyOne's existing customer base through our proprietary platform, combining fintech innovation with mortgage sales. 

What You’ll Do: 

Digital Loan Origination & Customer Service:

  • Process mortgage loan applications from GalaxyOne's existing customer base through our proprietary digital platform
  • Guide customers through the digital application process, providing personalized support and consultation
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional digital-first mortgage experiences 

Broker License Qualifying Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the designated qualifying individual for GalaxyOne's mortgage broker license
  • Oversee and supervise loan origination staff
  • Ensure proper licensing and continuing education requirements are met for all loan originators 

Platform Integration & Customer Experience: 

  • Collaborate with GalaxyOne's technology team to optimize the digital mortgage experience
  • Provide feedback on platform functionality and customer journey improvements
  • Develop digital workflows that enhance efficiency while maintaining compliance standards
  • Support customers transitioning from other Galaxy Digital services to mortgage products
  • Monitor and analyze digital conversion metrics and customer engagement data 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Active NMLS license with clean regulatory history
  • 3+ years of total mortgage lending experience
  • Minimum 3 years of active, recent mortgage origination experience
  • Experience serving as a qualifying individual for mortgage broker operations
  • Knowledge of state-specific mortgage broker licensing requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loans
  • Proven track record of digital loan origination with focus on customer conversion and retention
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with fintech experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for digital customer support
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills in fast-paced digital environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technology and product teams
  • Customer-centric mindset with focus on digital user experience optimization 

Bonus Points: 

  • 5+ years of mortgage industry experience with fintech or digital lending background
  • Experience with digital mortgage platforms and customer conversion optimization
  • Background in financial services technology or digital customer experience
