Job Description

Are you ready to disrupt the world of credit and lending? We're on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Product Manager who’s driven by innovation and ready to challenge the status quo. If you’re passionate about creating groundbreaking products and have a track record of turning ideas into impactful solutions, we want to hear from you!

We’re particularly interested in candidates with +3 years of experience working with credit products—whether it’s credit cards, lines of credit, or other forms of lending. Familiarity with the regulations and unique challenges in this space will give you a solid foundation to hit the ground running.

What You'll Do

In this role, you’ll own the entire product lifecycle, from discovery through go-to-market. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, compliance, risk, and more to bring products to life that truly make a difference. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Product Discovery & Problem Solving: Identify key problems and opportunities in the credit and lending space. You'll shape the future by turning insights into powerful solutions.
  • Business Strategy & Market Sizing: Build compelling business cases that showcase the market size and potential for Galileo’s credit and lending products.
  • Scope & Requirements: Translate your vision into actionable business requirements, partnering with engineers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Tech Design Collaboration: Work closely with your engineering team to ensure product designs scale with future demands. (Remember, at Galileo, APIs are the product!)
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Align stakeholders across risk, operations, legal, and more to ensure that every product is set for success, adhering to our SDLC process.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead all go-to-market activities and ensure smooth product delivery by coordinating with key stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Bring

You’re not just a product manager – you’re a visionary who brings products to life and makes a tangible impact. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Mandatory: 3+ years of experience working with credit and/or lending products, with a focus on credit.
  • Familiarity with Regulation Z, Truth In Lending Act, and other credit and lending regulations.
  • Expert Market Research Skills: An innate ability to dive into the credit & lending market, understand user needs, and anticipate trends.
  • Proven Success in Product Launches: You’ve launched differentiated products that have made waves in the market and successfully managed existing product portfolios.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: You’re a master at building narratives and can present complex ideas to C-suite execs, internal teams, and external clients with ease.
  • Relentless Curiosity: You won’t rest until you figure out how things work – and how to make them work better.
  • Strong Self-Motivation: You’re internally driven to make your products a success, pushing boundaries and owning outcomes every step of the way.
  • Agility in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to thrive in dynamic settings, juggle multiple priorities, and adapt to ever-evolving needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience
