The role
Financial planning and analysis enables Galileo to develop and execute on its growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability, built on strong relationships and grounded in facts.
What you’ll do:
- Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, the financial analyst will be supporting all the functions of the finance group focusing on the Galileo business unit of SoFi Technologies
- Assist in the build, maintenance and updating of various financial models used to project revenue and expenses
- Support tracking of key KPIs and contribute to the development and testing of new KPI definitions
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of a data repositories utilizing relational databases
- Assist in the development of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages including board and investor presentations
- Work cross-functionally with accounting, legal, business partners, and SoFi corporate finance to ensure accurate financial forecasting, compliance with fiscal policies, and strategic decision-making support.
- Assist with audit requests
What you’ll need:
- 2+ years of related experience, ideally in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or other related field
- Bachelors degree in finance, business, accounting or economics
- Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
- Relevant experience building and/or maintaining complex financial models in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- Strong Google Slides and/or Microsoft Powerpoint presentation skills, and familiarity with financial planning systems
- An analytical and inquisitive mindset, ability to solve problems, strong work ethic, attention to detail, prompt and clear communication skills, time and project management skills, positive attitude, and a results orientation

- Netsuite
- Workday Financials
- SQL
- Ability to develop analytics tools, such as Tableau and Looker to create dashboards
US-Based Base Compensation
$73,600 - $138,000 USD
