The role
 We are looking for a driven and collaborative software engineer to join our internal developer experience team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building and improving the tools and infrastructure that power our development workflows. You will work on a mix of in-house applications and third-party tools to help our engineering teams work more efficiently, securely, and at scale. From creating internal products to customizing CI/CD pipelines, your work will directly enhance developer productivity and system reliability. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of software engineering and developer operations, shaping both tools and processes across the company.
What you’ll do:
  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tooling and developer-facing applications
  • Customize and optimize third-party applications to support development workflows
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
  • Configure and manage GitLab runners for scalable and efficient deployments
  • Develop backend services and tools using Python and Bash
  • Operate and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
  • Manage and optimize container repositories including Docker, ECR, and Artifactory
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across dev infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to gather requirements and continuously improve tools
  • Advocate for best practices in CI/CD and developer experience
What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on CI/CD and developer tools
  • Proficiency in backend development with Python and Bash
  • Experience with GitLab pipelines and runner configurations
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, ECR, and Artifactory
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • A passion for improving the development lifecycle and internal tooling
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

US-Based Base Compensation

$128,000 - $240,000 USD
