The role 

As a Staff Product Manager for Core Banking, you will play a pivotal role in defining the foundation of Galileo’s banking capabilities, helping shape the next generation of our platform. This is a high-impact, strategic role that demands a strong product mindset, technical acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. You will be responsible for evolving our core banking modules—such as Lending, Deposits, Checking, and Regionalization—into configurable, scalable, and compliant services that meet the needs of our diverse client base.

To be successful, you’ll need to bridge the technical and business worlds, engaging with matrixed teams including design, engineering, sales, operations, finance, legal, risk, compliance, customers, and other product managers. You'll define and prioritize features, and drive internal stakeholder and external client and partner engagements necessary for the on-time launch and adoption of each product on the platform.

The ideal candidate will be a digital-first professional with a passion for financial services and a proven track record of blending business insight and technical knowledge to deliver a best-in-class customer-centric digital experience for our clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Core Modules: Lending, Deposits, Checking, Regionalization.
  • Be the voice of the customer, understand bank environments, and technology needs. 
  • Prioritize and drive product backlogs with your dedicated and dependent engineering teams.
  • Understand complex business and operational requirements and break them down into epics and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Continuously monitor for avenues of improvement, respond to production concerns, and provide innovative solutions that conform to high security standards while maintaining a delightful user experience.
  • Lead in a fast-paced, agile, multi-country, dynamic environment.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline with 8+ years in core banking product management or adjacent systems.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS product development principles with a focus on regulated financial SaaS products.
  • Strong data analysis skills along with experimentation methodologies to test, iterate, learn, and innovate.
  • Experience with a 3rd generation banking platform and experience with building scalable and configurable solutions with be a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

US-Based Base Compensation

$144,000 - $247,500 USD
