The role:
Galileo’s modern issuing and payments platform powers the next generation of financial experiences for banks, fintech, and B2B brands. You will expand that impact by opening new markets, forging high-value partnerships, and shaping deals that help clients launch differentiated card and payment products faster.
What you’ll do:
- Own the hunt. Build and manage a self-sourced pipeline of opportunities aligned to our target verticals
- Navigate complexity. Orchestrate multi-stakeholder sales cycles—product, risk, legal, and C-suite, inside both fintech scale-ups and large regulated FIs.
- Drive the deal. Draft, negotiate, and close MSAs, processor agreements, and bank partner addenda in concert with our legal team; protect margin while creating mutual value.
- Solve with insight. Translate client pain points into clear business cases that showcase Galileo’s APIs, risk platform, and account-level controls, always anchoring on client ROI.
- Collaborate to win. Partner with Product, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering to tailor demonstrations, pricing structures, and implementation plans that accelerate time-to-revenue.
- Forecast with precision. Maintain an accurate, disciplined CRM and deliver timely, data-driven forecasts for leadership and board-level reporting.
- Lead by example. Share market intelligence, mentor junior teammates, and champion a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
- 10+ years closing complex B2B deals in payments, issuing-processing, or card-program experience strongly preferred.
- Proven record of exceeding quota in enterprise or mid-market fintech sales (seven-figure ARR / bps-based contracts).
- Fluency in payments economics—interchange, transaction/event pricing, settlement, and sponsorship bank structures.
- Contract strategy chops: comfortable red-lining indemnities, exclusivity, SLAs, and revenue-share terms with legal counsel.
- Executive presence; able to distill technical detail into concise C-level narratives and negotiate win-win outcomes.
- High autonomy and resilience—thrives in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and ambitious growth targets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA or JD a plus.
Ready to accelerate the future of payments with us? Apply today and show us how you close big, complex deals that change the way businesses move money.
