The role:
As a Senior Product Manager within our Issuer Processing team, you will spearhead the product roadmap and drive the strategic execution for our credit and debit card issuance processing capabilities. This role focuses on enabling scalable and robust processing solutions for Financial Institutions (FIs), Fintechs, and Brands looking to launch or enhance their card programs.
You'll need deep subject matter expertise in end-to-end issuer processing, encompassing credit processing solutions alongside debit, and a strong understanding of ATM-initiated transactions (including on-us, off-us acquiring, and issuing flows). Prior experience building, enhancing and scaling platforms is crucial for success in this role. Prior experience in card operations, interfacing with card associations is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations, fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration with Sales, partners, engineering, operations, risk, compliance teams, and other product teams, and driving product delivery with demonstrable results. In this role, you will be expected to independently interface and drive discussions and decisions with stakeholders from product, engineering, various business units, and operations.
What you’ll do:
- Prioritize and drive product backlogs with your dedicated and dependent engineering teams.
- Understand complex business and operational requirements and break them down into epics and user stories for engineering teams.
- Continuously monitor for opportunities, respond to production concerns, and provide innovative solutions that conform to high security standards while maintaining a delightful user experience.
- Collaborate with various internal teams such as infrastructure, networking, security, compliance, relationship managers and external teams like payment card networks to build seamlessly integrated solutions.
- Be the voice of the customer, understand their pain points and work with various internal team members to provide a complete solution.
- Work with internal project stakeholders from marketing, sales, operations to translate customer needs into meaningful products while leading go to market activities like client communication and pricing strategy.
- Lead in a fast-paced, agile, multi-country, dynamic environment.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline and 8+ years product management experience OR
- Advanced degree or MBA with BS or higher in Computer Science preferred and 5+ years of product management experience.
- Domain knowledge of Credit Card Platforms, Card Processing, ATM Processing, and reconciliation services.
- Prior experience managing system integrators.
- Exposure to mobile and digital wallets processing is a plus.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Highly organized and capable of helping teams navigate ambiguity and execute with confidence.
- Ability to work with remote teams.
US-Based Base Compensation
$124,800 - $180,000 USD
