Operations and Relationship Analyst

Reports to: Senior Manager, Partner Development

Mission: To serve as the point of contact for third-party partners. Coordinate and execute the operational and compliance tasks within the Supplier Relationship Owner (SRO) framework, providing for strategic oversight and final approvals.

Core Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Supplier Lifecycle Management (Operational Execution)

  • Onboarding & Research: Gather all operational data for the partnerships during the research phase and prepare all necessary documentation for Finance, Risk, and InfoSec.
  • Supplier Assessments: Coordinate and manage all internal reviews (Cyber, TPG, Privacy, Risk), ensuring suppliers provide the required documentation for approval.
  • Contracting Support: Provide administrative support to Legal and Procurement during contract negotiations to ensure commercial and technical requirements are captured.
  • Offboarding & Termination: Handle final paperwork, facilitate legal requests for offboarding, and ensure all close-out assessments are submitted to Third-Party Governance (TPM).

2. Financial & Performance Operations

  • Invoicing & Payments: Conduct initial reviews of all invoices, route questions using streamlined methodologies, and facilitate payments by working with Accounts Payable.
  • PO Creation: Process all Purchase Order (PO) requests in systems like Coupa and perform discrepancy analysis or accounting break reviews.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Execute "Ongoing Monitoring Campaigns" by collecting documentation, submitting results to the system of record, and completing required TPG forms.
  • Performance Reviews: Manage the administrative side of Tier 1, 2, and 3 performance reviews, including tracking assessment cycles and conducting initial analysis of service level agreements (SLAs).

3. Relationship Maintenance & Compliance

  • Centralized Liaison: Act as the "middleman" between the Partner Development team and internal programs (Cyber, IT, Privacy, Compliance) to resolve manual bottlenecks.
  • Issue Tracking & Escalation: Identify and track risk events or issues, providing the SRO with prepared summaries for final decision-making or escalation.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain the "System of Record" for all partnership activities, ensuring Salesforce and Gong data reflects the current compliance status of every partner.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • SRO Capacity Release: Successfully manage approximately 70% of the annual workload hours per supplier (e.g., ~55 hours for a Tier 1 supplier) to allow the SRO to focus on strategic growth.
  • Audit Readiness: Ensure 100% of required TPG documentation is collected and submitted accurately without SRO intervention.
  • Operational Velocity: Reduce the time-to-onboard for new Credit and Crypto partners through proactive coordination of internal reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • SRO/TPRM Experience: Familiarity with the Supplier Relationship Owner (SRO) or Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) frameworks.
  • System Proficiency: Experience with Coupa, Salesforce, and Gong for tracking spend, interactions, and compliance.
  • Project Coordination: Ability to manage multiple "moving parts" across Legal, Finance, and Risk departments.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the "Partner" leg of the "Build, Buy, Partner" strategy, specifically for Fintech, Sponsor Banks, and Card Networks
