The Opportunity: Director, Client Services, Mexico

Are you an accomplished Client Success leader with a deep understanding of the financial, banking, and fintech sectors in Mexico and Colombia? Do you thrive on nurturing enterprise-level relationships, driving commercial growth, and building high-performing teams in a dynamic market? Galileo Financial Technologies is seeking a Director, Client Services, Mexico to lead our client success efforts, spearhead market expansion, and ensure exceptional experiences for our most strategic clients. This is a pivotal role where you'll not only shape our regional client strategy but also serve as a crucial bridge between global vision and local execution, embodying a true founder's mentality.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities & Impact):

  • Strategic Leadership & Team Building:
    • Define and Execute: Strategically lead and scale our Mexico-based Client Success team, encompassing relationship managers, technical project managers, and program and compliance specialists, aligning local strategy with global priorities.
    • Cultivate Excellence: Build, mentor, and empower a diverse, high-impact team, fostering a high-performing, engaged, and collaborative culture by setting ambitious goals, providing clear feedback, and championing career growth.
    • Amplify Impact: Serve as the senior-most leader in Mexico, advocating for our company's mission while ensuring the voice, needs, and achievements of the Mexico team resonate across the broader organization.
  • Client Relationship & Commercial Growth:
    • Drive Client Delight: Champion exceptional client experiences from initial implementation through ongoing, long-term account management, transforming clients into delighted, trusted partners.
    • Shape Commercial Success: Collaborate strategically with Mexico's revenue leadership, providing critical operational and technical insights to support complex deals and influence deal structuring for optimal client onboarding and sustained satisfaction.
    • Expand Value: Drive account growth through expert management and identifying upsell opportunities within enterprise-level banks and financial institutions.
  • Regulatory & Market Stewardship:
    • Ensure Compliance: Act as the company's local legal representative in Mexico, maintaining meticulous oversight of all operations to ensure strict adherence to regional laws and financial regulations.
    • Navigate the Landscape: Expertly manage bin sponsorship operations and critical regulatory relationships, safeguarding our market position.
  • Product Innovation & Market Fit:
    • Influence Product Direction: Leverage profound insights into Mexico and Colombia's financial, banking, and fintech sectors to identify strategic opportunities for platform and solution expansion.
    • Catalyze Innovation: Partner directly with global product and engineering teams, translating local client needs into actionable product roadmap contributions and validating new concepts for optimal market fit.
    • Execute Vision: Formulate and execute impactful regional product strategies, transforming market insights into tangible business growth.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications):

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Client Success, Client Services, or as a Business Unit Leader, with a proven track record of P&L responsibility, enterprise account management, and successful upselling.
  • Deep and current expertise in the financial, banking, and fintech sectors across Mexico and Colombia, including a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire diverse teams to achieve operational excellence and deliver superior client outcomes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to quickly assess complex situations and implement effective local solutions.
  • Demonstrated alignment with "The SoFi Way" values, particularly a "Founder's Mentality" (urgency, ownership), being a "Problem Solver" (running after problems, iterating, being gritty), and a "Partner" (client obsession, embracing diversity).
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

US-Based Base Compensation

$1 - $2 USD
