LIHTC Associate

Description:

Gallagher Evelius & Jones LLP is seeking to hire a junior to mid-level Associate to work in our growing low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) practice.  This attorney will work closely with the Partners, Associates and Paralegals in our close-knit and supportive group to close LIHTC transactions on behalf of a leading national syndicator and other clients, with significant client exposure and deal responsibility.  The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in LIHTC transactional work and the following work experiences and/or skillsets:   

• Prior experience as counsel on low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) deals representing tax credit syndicators, investors and/or developers.
• A general tax background (LLM or tax concentration) is beneficial, but not required.
• Highly motivated and energetic self-starter.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate confidently with clients, developers and other transaction parties.
