Gallery Media Group includes women’s lifestyle brand PureWow and a collection of social-first media brands, such as @cocktails, @moms, @recipes and @ballplayers on Instagram and TikTok that reach over 200M consumers. Additionally, GMG has an expansive experiential arm rooted in Gallery Houses—a fusion of social content, creators, and cultural moments at scale—and a robust influencer marketing business. The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood, and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.

Gallery Media Group is seeking an entrepreneurial and detailed-oriented event expert to join the team. The Senior Manager of Experiential will plan and execute a variety of events for all brands under Gallery Media Group. Events can range from monthly influencer gatherings to large-scale activations at events such as Super Bowl, Coachella, and Art Basel. Key responsibilities will include concepting brand moments, working with production partners, managing brand activations, and supporting internal groups. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work within a small, but dynamic experiential team, and alongside other internal groups, to execute events from ideation through on-site execution.
  • Conceptualize and budget brand-relevant, custom event activation concepts for sponsor pitches that align with the KPIs of both the brand and advertiser. 
  • Oversee implementation of approved activation concepts, which includes identifying production partners, sourcing operational elements, internally communicating updates, and on-site management.
  • Build comprehensive event decks with all relevant event information to present to both internal teams and external clients. 
  • Collaborate with the internal client management team on sponsor communication and approvals during the event planning phase.
  • Work with the team to help develop the overall event design and vision in alignment with the brand aesthetic.
  • Assist with the management of production partners and temporary freelance producers for larger events. 
  • Independently oversee and manage smaller, one-off brand activations.
  • Build, track and reconcile event budgets.
  • Develop and update event documentation, including event overviews, activation briefs, run of shows, schedules, and event wrap up decks. 
  • Stay current on industry trends to help ideate creative event solutions by researching venues, vendors, restaurants, premiums, talent, trends, etc. for potential event use. 

Qualifications:

  • Requires event experience with a focus on sponsor management and event production.
  • Experience working directly with brands and clients on event activations ideation and executions.
  • Demonstrated history of developing successful concepts for brand-specific activations.
  • Extreme attention to detail, ability to multitask, thrives under pressure, creative problem solving, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt and deliver upon a change of direction or client request with a positive attitude.

Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, interpret and prioritize information, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Must be able to work autonomously to execute events, while being a team player across the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when working with executives and VIPs.
  • Effective time management skills and experience prioritizing multiple projects and responsibilities at once. 
  • Pulse on experiential marketing and event trends. 
  • Strong vendor and venue knowledge and relationships in key US markets.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel when needed.

Base Salary
$75,000 - $90,000 USD
