Graphic Designer - Contract
JOB SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a Graphic Design Contractor to support our growing creative team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating optimized, high-converting visual assets that elevate performance in our digital, social, and product channels. You’ll work closely with the creative team to elevate performance in campaigns, by leveraging innovation, best practices, and our brand guidelines at every step.
This is a contract role ideal for a detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to a brand that lives at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Outline the core duties and expectations for the position. These should reflect tasks directly tied to organizational objectives.
- Design visually compelling and conversion-optimized assets across multiple channels (social media, email, paid ads, lifecycle campaigns, and app graphics).
- Participate in experimentation sprints and A/B testing to consistently iterate our designs based on data & performance.
- Adapt existing creative into multiple formats while maintaining consistency with Gametime’s brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Lead Graphic Designer and in-house designers on campaign execution and asset requests.
- Deliver high-quality files that are error-free, proofread, and optimized before handoff.
- Stay current on design trends in sports, entertainment, and digital marketing.
KEY COMPETENCIES:

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Familiarity in Figma and UX/UI conversion-driven design, including email marketing platforms. (Braze is a plus!)
- Comfortable with prompting and utilizing AI within design solutions (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Gemini, ChatGPT)
Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
- Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Define the minimum educational and experiential requirements necessary to apply for the role.
- Education: basic working knowledge of design principles
- Experience: 5 years minimum experience as graphic designer working in-house, for an agency, or potentially freelance
- Certifications: N/A
- Other Requirements: Strong portfolio showcasing digital-first design work (social, ads, lifecycle, or brand campaigns)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Include any additional qualifications or experience that are not essential but would be beneficial.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Graphic Design
- Experience: Previously held a role as ‘Senior Graphic Designer’
- Other: Experience in sports/entertainment design, DTC marketing, Performance marketing, and paid social media advertising
At Gametime pay ranges are subject to change and assigned to a job based on specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.

$60 - $75 USD
