With platforms on iOS, Android, mobile web and desktop supporting more than 60,000 events across the US and Canada, we are reimagining the event ticket industry in order to move at the speed of life.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team, a cross-functional group supporting all aspects of Gametime. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the User Acquisition team to optimize Paid Social campaign performance across channels like Meta, TikTok, and Reddit through rigorous experimentation and advanced mobile measurement. This includes driving creative and spend efficiency, analyzing channel efficiency dynamics (IPM and CPM), and maximizing signal quality via SKAdNetwork (SKAN).

You will play a key role in studying mobile cohorts to identify high-value opportunities across leagues and performers, working towards maximizing Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and sustainable growth. By supporting the marketing team and optimizing the full user journey, you will have a direct impact on the success of the company.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mobile marketing and privacy-compliant measurement in a marketplace setting, and can thrive in a fast-paced, proactive, and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobile Measurement: Own the technical frameworks for tracking marketing effectiveness in a privacy-first world. You will configure and optimize SKAdNetwork conversion value schemas to extract maximum signal from iOS campaigns, bridging the gap between platform data and internal truth.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Own the end-to-end design and maintenance of marketing analytics dashboards in our BI tools (Sigma/Tableau). You will serve as the single source of truth for reporting, ensuring stakeholders have accurate, real-time visibility into performance.
  • Campaign and Creative Performance: Conduct granular analysis on campaigns and creative performance, specifically monitoring Install Per Mille (IPM) and Cost Per Mille (CPM). You will provide data-driven recommendations to optimize the marketing spend portfolio across many leagues, performances, and creative types.
  • Cohort Analytics: Deeply analyze mobile user cohorts to understand retention and monetization behaviors. You will identify efficiency trends across specific leagues, teams, and performers, guiding budget allocation to capitalize on high-intent users.
  • Financial Modeling & Incrementality: Collaborate with marketing and finance team members to understand channel incrementality (lift) through measurement and experimentation, and inform financial scenario planning and target setting.
  • Competitive Advantage: Stay informed on the evolving mobile privacy landscape (Apple ATT) to help maintain data science as a competitive advantage for the company.

Key Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Mobile Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs), SKAdNetwork, and the optimization algorithms of paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok).
  • Programming and Tooling: Proficient in Python/R and SQL for data analysis, predictive modeling, and optimization workflows.
  • Statistical Analysis: Strong foundation in statistics, with experience in experimentation and incrementality measurement.
  • Business Intelligence: Experience working with business intelligence data visualization software, such as Tableau or Sigma.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in marketing, supply, finance, product, and fan happiness to achieve business goals.
  • Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to present technical insights (like attribution nuances) to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategy.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

  • Critical Thinking: Demonstrates strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Proactive: Proactive in identifying challenges—such as signal loss or creative fatigue—and implementing solutions. Embodies a proactive and “Always be Curious” mindset.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics or growth data science.
  • Mobile-First Expertise: Prior experience in a mobile-first company with a deep understanding of SKAdNetwork (SKAN 4) and other privacy-compliant mobile measurement solutions is required.
  • Tools: Expertise with SQL, Python/R, and Mobile Measurement Partners (Adjust, AppsFlyer, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Paid Social (Meta/TikTok) in a dynamic, high-growth marketplace environment.
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) or Incrementality testing.
  • Experience in ticketing or live events is a strong plus.

Performance Metrics

  • Efficiency Improvement: Improve blended CPI (Cost Per Install) across all channels by 10% at target spend within the first year.

User Quality Growth: Improve the Lifetime Value (LTV) of the new user install base by 10% within the first year.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
