Product Manager II
Garner’s mission is to transform the healthcare economy, delivering high-quality and affordable care for all.
We are fundamentally reimagining how healthcare works in the U.S. by partnering with employers to redesign healthcare benefits using clear incentives and powerful, data-driven insights. Our approach guides employees to higher-quality, lower-cost care, creating a system that works better for everyone. Patients achieve better health outcomes, employers spend healthcare dollars more effectively, and physicians are rewarded for delivering exceptional care rather than performing more procedures.
Garner is one of the fastest-growing healthcare technology companies in the country. Our products are trusted by the most sophisticated employers and providers in the industry, and we are building a team of talented, mission-driven individuals who are motivated to make a meaningful impact on healthcare at scale.
About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager II to lead our Claims Core team, within Garner’s Financial Incentives area. This role will report to our Director of Product Management. The Claims Core team is responsible for building Garner’s core member reimbursement system, including data ingestion and validation, adjudication logic and decision engine, and payment. Your team will be responsible for enabling Garner to reimburse $100m+ in patient bills in 2026, delivering an exceptional user experience at scale and directly improving affordability of care for patients.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
- Own the Claims Core product and roadmap, including our data ingestion platform, core adjudication system, operational tools, and data products
- Own the tools and workflows for Garner’s Feed Integrations operations team, building monitoring, mapping, diagnostics, and alerting applications for the team to manage thousands of inbound data feeds
- Develop a deep intuition for user needs—including members, internal teams, administrators—and use that to drive your roadmap and help shape the overall product strategy
- Drive new feature development from start to finish: from ideation, requirements gathering, documentation, product development, launch and iteration
- Define what success looks like, ensure we have the data in place to measure progress, and rally the team around what winning looks like and how we get there
The ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years PM experience
- Strong technical and analytical ability, with hands on experience in software engineering, data science, math, or finance
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate vision and drive execution across teams and stakeholders
- Bonus points if you have experience building financial products or large-scale data systems
- A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
