Senior Product Manager

New York City, New York

Garner’s mission is to transform the healthcare economy, delivering high-quality and affordable care for all.

We are fundamentally reimagining how healthcare works in the U.S. by partnering with employers to redesign healthcare benefits using clear incentives and powerful, data-driven insights. Our approach guides employees to higher-quality, lower-cost care, creating a system that works better for everyone. Patients achieve better health outcomes, employers spend healthcare dollars more effectively, and physicians are rewarded for delivering exceptional care rather than performing more procedures.

Garner is one of the fastest-growing healthcare technology companies in the country. Our products are trusted by the most sophisticated employers and providers in the industry, and we are building a team of talented, mission-driven individuals who are motivated to make a meaningful impact on healthcare at scale.

About the role:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager to lead our Engagement team within our Growth Area. • Lead projects such as personalizing the app for families and dependents, developing our notification and member outreach infrastructure
  • Define and develop the engagement roadmap, partnering with Growth Marketing, new products and features, as well as internal services and data products
  • Drive new feature development from start to finish: from ideation to solution design, development, launch and iteration
  • Define what success looks like, ensure we have the data in place to measure progress, and rally the team around what winning looks like

The ideal candidate has:

  • 4+ years product management experience, with significant exposure to user-facing tools or applications
  • Highly autonomous and thrives in taking ownership of complex, un-scoped problems
  • A relentless learner with a proven track record of diving deep into large, complex domains and becoming the go-to expert
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate vision and drive execution across teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, using data to guide product intuition and decisions
  • Bonus points for experience or a degree in software engineering or data science, building healthcare consumer products, and/or managing and building large-scale data systems
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
  • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

Technologies we use:

  • Python, TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Istio, Postgres, ElasticSearch, NATS, AWS, Terraform

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
