What you'll do:
- Serve as a trusted client partner, managing day-to-day communications, providing strategic counsel, and ensuring exceptional service.
- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies across media, digital, content, and thought leadership.
- Lead and mentor internal teams, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget while fostering collaboration and growth.
- Build and maintain strong media and influencer relationships, driving impactful coverage and engagement.
- Manage account financials, including budgets, forecasts, and reporting, while supporting new business opportunities through proposals and presentations.
- Stay current on industry, cultural, and regulatory trends to spark creative, insights-driven ideas that deliver value for clients.
Experience that contributes to success:
- 5+ years of communications experience with a PR agency preferred.
- Proven expertise in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, leveraging knowledge of therapeutic areas, regulatory pathways, and patient/HCP engagement to deliver strategic, high-impact communications.
- Experience leading communications strategies around FDA and regulatory milestones (e.g., clinical trial data, FDA approvals, product launches), translating complex data into compelling narratives for media, stakeholders, patients, and healthcare providers while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Passion for telling the client story and a proven track record of success positioning large clients with top tier media.
- Proven ability to help lead and manage multiple accounts and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with HCP and DTC marketing, including earned media, content marketing, social media, and digital strategies.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Understanding of the integration of social media and traditional media.
- Ability to take ownership of a program and work with autonomy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as social media platforms (Facebook, X, Pinterest, Instagram).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong attention to detail.
