
Brand & Communications Event and Marketing Associate [Maternity Leave Cover]
SUMMARY
The Brand & Communications team is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to support firm-wide marketing, communications, and event initiatives to support maternity leave coverage from April – November 2026.
This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders across investment teams, client relations, and leadership to execute digital communications, manage conferences and events, and support brand-aligned storytelling across channels. The position requires strong project management skills, the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, and the ability to execute both strategic and tactical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Depending on experience, the hourly rate will be between $35-$55 per hour. Location is flexible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:
- Digital & Content Marketing
- Draft, schedule, and manage LinkedIn copy, including event promotion and re-share support for internal teams
- Assist with building and sending marketing emails, including client newsletters, sector-specific digests, sales outreach, and event-related messaging
- Partner with internal teams to support report and thought leadership publication and distribution
- Provide quality control and review of public-facing materials prior to publication
- Graphic Design & Creative Support
- Work closely with internal graphic designer(s) to develop creative assets across LinkedIn, email, reports, thought leadership, and other branded materials (as needed)
- Support creative needs for various sponsored and hosted events as well as firmwide initiatives
- Conference & Event Management
- Support end-to-end planning and execution of conferences, forums, and networking events
- Support deliverable tracking and timeline management for all events
- Support on-site logistics for select firm-hosted and sponsored events
- Event Systems & Operations
- Utilize conference and event systems, including Salesforce integration and reporting
- Support budget reconciliation, approvals, and expense tracking for events
- Support registration management and attendee communications
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:
- Bachelor’s degree required; marketing, communications, or business preferred
- 3–6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event management (financial services experience a plus)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with LinkedIn, email marketing platforms (Marketing Cloud and Hubspot preferred), CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and content management systems
- Comfort working with creative teams and external vendors
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work within existing InDesign templates and documents is preferred
