Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Per Diem
💵 Pay: $30 - $40/hour

We’re currently seeking a Per Diem LPN/LVN who’s passionate about providing outstanding hospice care and making a meaningful impact, one patient at a time.

 

About the Role:

As a per diem nurse at Geiss Med Hospice, you’ll deliver patient-centered care based on physician orders, industry best practices, and our heartfelt commitment to excellence. This is a flexible opportunity for an LPN/LVN who wants to work in a supportive environment with meaningful patient interactions.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct care and comfort to patients with empathy and professionalism
  • Complete documentation promptly and submit it to the EMR within 24 hours
  • Assist with EOBs, consent forms, and intake coordination
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
  • Observe and report changes in patient status to the RN case manager
  • Supervise nursing assistants if applicable (per state regulations)
  • Stay current with best practices and hospice training

What You’ll Need:

  • A valid LPN/LVN license in the state
  • 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred (hospice or home health a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Fire safety certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
