POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Environmental Sales Representative is an outside sales position responsible for driving growth within the Environmental Division through prospecting for new customers, and growing business with existing customers. This hunting style position will use a variety of prospecting methods and resources to achieve revenue goals and aid in the sustainable growth of the Environmental Division at all G.E. Mechanical branches.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Target new opportunities and clients via direct sales

Work closely with the G.E. team to monitor service activity and assist with bids and proposals, generating new revenue

Engage in site visits and estimation for environmental projects with the assistance of internal teams

Utilize and maintain CRM in combination with lead generation software

Utilize and maintain weekly activity log and organized time blocking schedule for prospecting activities

Collaborate sold projects with the service department, project managers/foreman, customers, and billing

Monitor industry trends, changes, and data via trade journals, government regulations, and attend trade shows to help generate new revenue and develop sales leads

Independently, effectively, and consistently review and maintain sales goals, while forecasting future revenue potential

Demonstrate strong knowledge and confidence in all G.E. Mechanical services, but particularly within the Environmental Division

Identify and promote products and services to benefit our clients and strengthen/establish business relationships with ethical standards

Maintain working knowledge of environmental standards and laws related to the work we are recommending

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or GED and 3 years’ sales experience with practical field experience in environmental services or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with various devices (tablets, smart phones, computers, etc.)

Ability to instill a sense of trust and confidence in others through knowledgeable and dedicated work ethics

Familiarity with mechanical services and operations, particularly with regards to environmental services/hydro-excavation and drain cleaning

Attention to detail and organization

Have the desire to work with others and be responsive to all our customers' requirements/concerns

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Verbal & written communication skills

Ability to work as a team player

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook

Experience and Proficiency utilizing a CRM

Experience utilizing lead generation software

Experience in B2B sales

Experience in prospecting and outside sales

Salary: $50k base + uncapped commission earning potential + vehicle
