Talent Acquisition and Partnerships Associate

Role Description

This role involves developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, tracking and analyzing program outcomes, managing data, coordinating events, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in partnership development and data analysis, and a passion for driving positive outcomes.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with corporations, startups, government agencies, and international organizations in Bahrain and the GCC region.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of joint initiatives and programs with partners to drive mutual benefits.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Track and monitor the progress of graduates and program participants to ensure they achieve desired outcomes.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program success, including placement rates, student satisfaction, and career advancement.
  • Collaborate with the Student Experience and Coaching teams to provide comprehensive support to graduates and participants.
  • Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to track progress and inform decision-making.
  • Assist in the execution of partnership events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, tracking deliverables, and managing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to partnerships and program outcomes.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Ensure that program performance aligns with established key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined in the agreement.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Track the progress of bootcamp, part-time, accelerator, apprenticeship and other courses graduates in terms of placements and career progress.
  • Track the progress of existing employees/freelancers/startups. Follow up with existing graduates from previous cohorts or any cohorts under this agreement to assess career progression, and with freelancers to monitor project acquisition. For those who will establish new startups, the placement team will track the stages of development and overall success to obtain insights into the entrepreneurial impact of GA's programs for a period of 270 days post the end of the course.
  • Proactively reach out to regional and global tech companies and organizations that are actively recruiting tech talent to market GA graduates effectively.
  • Build capacity to support program graduates in accessing remote job opportunities globally
  • Build capacity, relationships, training courses and processes to support graduates in becoming paid freelancers.
  • Proactively develop an understanding of organizational tech skill needs in Bahrain to enable tailoring of some immersive programs to employers’ needs.
  • Assist in organizing job fairs, and networking events; these functions can provide more opportunities for students to connect with employers and gain insights into various career paths.
  • Job match by compiling and maintaining a database for relevant job vacancies from various employers.
  • Provide career counseling and guidance services to help students and graduates assess their skills, interests, and career goals, develop resumes, improve interview skills, and provide guidance on career planning and advancement.
  • Actively monitoring program outcomes and ensuring that program performance consistently meets or exceeds established key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined in the agreement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bahraini National
  • Bilingual: Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition, business development, sales or related roles
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to tailor content to different audiences
  • Knowledge of tech industry trends and market dynamics
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
