2026 Portfolio Human Capital Summer Analyst
As a Summer Analyst, you will spend 10 weeks in our New York Office working with the Portfolio Human Capital Team. The Portfolio Human Capital team partners closely with General Atlantic’s portfolio companies on strategic and growth-oriented talent initiatives. The Summer Analyst will support the team across executive research, talent mapping, analytics, and process improvement efforts, gaining exposure to senior-level talent strategy in a global growth equity environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Portfolio Human Capital team with efforts related to senior leadership and executive talent across portfolio companies.
- Assist in identifying prospective executive candidates using internal talent management databases and external research tools.
- Conduct basic industry and company research to support talent mapping and search efforts.
- Help prepare research summaries and candidate materials for internal team use.
- Support administrative and coordination needs related to active search processes, including candidate tracking and note-taking.
- Assist with maintaining the GA Talent Bank by entering, updating, and organizing candidate information.
- Support data clean-up and process documentation initiatives related to talent and research workflows.
- Assist in tracking search activity and maintaining internal reports and dashboards for senior leader presentations.
- Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting projects for the GA Human Capital team.
Qualifications
- Individuals currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution in the US and are graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Proven record of achievement in academic, leadership, and other settings.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, professionalism, and a dedication to continuous learning.
- Creative and solutions-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High Energy, collaborative and globally minded, eager to work with colleagues across GA’s offices.
- Strong interest in human capital, executive recruiting, talent strategy, or the intersection of people and investing.
GA Value
The Portfolio Human Capital Summer Analyst program will be based in GA’s New York office and will span 10 weeks, beginning in June 2026. As a Summer Analyst, you can expect:

Upon successful completion of your internship, you will receive first consideration for a Fulltime Analyst role. General Atlantic allows you to earn a rate of $4,166 per pay period.
