About This Role
As a General Matter Test Engineer, you will own test infrastructure and support test design, setup, and operation for our enrichment technology. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing engineers, and nuclear engineers. Responsibilities
- Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team capable of executing static, dynamic, fatigue, thermal and vibration testing.
- Architect and own test infrastructure.
- Test items ranging from small integrated electronics systems to fluid systems.
- Operate data acquisition systems, thermal chambers, vibration tables, and structural testing equipment.
- Lead design reviews, run data analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans.
- Build test equipment, implement test automation, analyze failures and execute qualification campaigns.
Basic Qualifications
- Evidence of exceptional ability (prior projects, portfolio of work, completed products, etc).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1+ years of test engineering experience via project team, research, internship, and/or professional experience.
- CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards.
- Experience in hardware automation and software-hardware communication/integration.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with hands-on electrical engineering work.
- Experience with test equipment (data acquisition, instrumentation, pumps, valves, and automation).
- Experience with the building and testing of fluid and/or electrical systems.
- Experience with writing test plans and test procedures.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
