QC Technical Services Associate

JOB SUMMARY

The QC Technical Services Associate will be supporting key stability and critical reagents within the Quality Control Technical Services department at the Lexington MA facility.  This individual will work collaboratively with QC Operations, Analytical Development, and Quality Assurance in support of clinical pipeline and commercial products. This position will report directly to the QCTS Scientist. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work under general guidance to support Genezen’s programs, from early phase to commercialization.
  • Support and own quality documentation, including Change Control and CAPA.
  • Will provide data verification of QC results.
  • Create, implement and support data tables, and assay and/or sample trending.
  • Working knowledge of quality system requirements.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Will author and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

2-3 years of QC laboratory experience in a cGMP environment

Experience in Quality Control within the biological pharmaceutical industry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to meet the following physical demands:

Work Environment

  • Frequently required to work in a BSL 2 environment with personal protective equipment/aseptic gowning
  • Regularly required to work around large machinery and typical utilities seen in pharmaceutical facilities
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; hazardous waste; and risk of electrical shock
  • Occasionally exposed to extremely loud noise levels

Movement
