We are seeking a Contract Sr. Developer – Data Platforms to join our Dallas team. In this role, you will work with our client in building and deploying workflows, setting up DevOps practices, helping their systems scale, etc. This contract is expected to last at least 90 days and is a w9 position. We are not working with third parties at this time. The successful candidate will be proficient in programming in Python and have previous experience packaging and deploying Python applications. They will also have experience with the following:
We are seeking a Contract Sr. Developer – Data Platforms to join our Dallas team. In this role, you will work with our client in building and deploying workflows, setting up DevOps practices, helping their systems scale, etc. This contract is expected to last at least 90 days and is a w9 position. We are not working with third parties at this time. The successful candidate will be proficient in programming in Python and have previous experience packaging and deploying Python applications. They will also have experience with the following:
- AWS Foundation technologies like EC2, S3 and SQS
- Databricks (hosted on AWS is a plus)
- *nix command line and operations
- DevOps Processes and Tools
- SQL Language - Intermediate to advanced skills required
- SQL Server, and SSMS is preferred
- File encryption and decryption frameworks and patterns of use is preferred
- Python used with Apache Spark in Databricks is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required
