About the Opportunity:
Hybrid Role. Will have to be onsite 1-2 times a month. Must be located within a 30-minute drive of Ann Arbor, MI.
At Genomenon, we are at the forefront of genomics research and innovation, with a mission to accelerate genetic discoveries and improve patient care. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Coordinator to provide essential business support, including recruiting coordination, general administrative tasks, and logistical assistance for meetings and events. This role is based in Ann Arbor, as in-person presence will be required for meeting and event setups, logistics, and other local support needs.

Position Responsibilities:
Recruiting Coordination
- Interview Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring availability across time zones.
- Candidate Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the hiring process.
- Recruitment Logistics: Prepare interview materials, set up virtual or in-person interviews, and assist with video conferencing setup and troubleshooting.
- Process Management: Maintain accurate candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and ensure timely feedback from hiring teams.
Business Support
- Calendar Management: Manage and organize the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Marketing Materials: Assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials as needed. This may include some time packing and mailing materials from our storage unit located about 20 minutes from the Cahoots office.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including tracking project timelines, organizing documents, and supporting business operations.
Meeting & Event Logistics
- Arrange meeting spaces, coordinate equipment setup, and manage materials for in-person and virtual events.
- Assist with local events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and ensuring smooth execution of activities.
- Support team members and guests during onsite visits, ensuring an exceptional experience.
- Book hotel rooms for large conferences and events, as well as for exec team travel to Ann Arbor
Skills and Background:
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of previous experience in recruiting coordination, HR, or administrative roles is preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in G Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Slack.
- Attributes:
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines.
- Location:
- Must be based in or near Ann Arbor, MI, with the ability to be onsite quarterly for several days.
Details:
- This is a part-time position requiring approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate business needs and event schedules.
- Pay: $15-$25 per hour
