ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. 

Note: This role is designated for GenScript and does not fall under the scope of ProBio CDMO.

Job Title: Inside Sales

Working Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Base Location: Fully Remote. Candidate must reside in Cambridge or London, United Kingdom.

About the job Inside Sales:

GenScript is seeking a dynamic and driven Inside Sales Representative for our Europe Division. This role is ideal for candidates with a biological sciences background (MSc preferred) who are passionate about sales, quick to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Inside Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by engaging with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the sales process. You will primarily interact via phone, email, video conferencing, and online chat.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential customers within the target market. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to generate leads/opportunities.
  • Engage with prospective customers to understand their business needs and pain points. Tailor sales pitches and solutions to address customer-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the SAM team to plan out local campaigns including both on-site one (such as road show) and on-line one (such as email campaign). Collaborate with Marketing, Product Manager, Finance, or other departments required to promote business and improve internal processes, align strategies, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Being responsible to achieving the sales goal for a certain number of orgs or a specific territory.
  • Document all sales activities and customer interactions accurately in the CRM system. Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and deals throughout the sales process. Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and achievements to the sales manager.
  • Collaborate with other sales that can coexist in the same region.

Main Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in biological related fields including but not limited to cell biology, immunology, and molecular biology.
  • Experience in Inside Sales, Sales, or Business Development, preferably in a B2B environment, is a plus.
  • Familiar with prospecting activities including cold calling, roadshows, conferences, email/LinkedIn prospecting.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Knowledge of sales techniques and principles. 
  • Familiarity with GenScript products and strong knowledge of the UK Life Sciences market are highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned regions (up to 20%).
  • Fluent in English.
