Techno-Commercial Manager (Industrial Enzyme)

  • Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic Techno-Commercial Manager (Industrial Enzyme) to join our expanding team in India. This remote role will focus on developing Technical Solution & On-site Support to ethanol customers and support sales head to enhance channel management to drive sales growth within the industrial enzyme sector.
  • Location: India, remote.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Activities: Capable of effectively delivering technical trainings, facilitating in-depth discussions, leading and managing product trials and trial reports. Serve as the core technical and commercial contact for customers. Design tailored enzyme application solutions matching customers’ liquefaction, saccharification and fermentation processes. Conduct on-site process audits, parameter optimization and effect verification to improve ethanol yield and reduce plant energy and production costs. Resolve technical anomalies and product application issues quickly with internal technical and R&D support to ensure stable customer production.
  • Sales & Channel Management: execute grain processing industry growth strategies to expand market share by enhancing channel management and customer partnerships development.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical and application research to drive product trials, problem-solving and support marketing in relevant branding activities.
  • Market Intelligence: Identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in industrial enzymes to contribute to business growth plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Professional Background: Proven track record in channel, key account management and B2B sales.
  • Skills: CRM excellence in managing opportunities pipeline, generating reports, forecasting, and ensuring data hygiene for cross functional team alignment.
  • Industry Knowledge: At least 5 years of experience in the ethanol industry. Prior exposure to enzymes is a significant added advantage.
  • Education & Technical Background: Bachelor or Master’s degree; technical background (either through education or work experience) is preferred, with ability to bridge commercial and technical discussions with channels or customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Cultural Fit: Strong teamwork spirit, ambitious mindset, and excellent communication skills. Experience working in multi-cultural environments is essential, with demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Open to frequent travelling up to 50%.
