Job Title: AI Intern, Enterprise Agent Development

Supervisor: Head of AI for Industry, Digital & Intelligent Technology Center

Location: Piscataway, NJ (Onsite preferably, but open to US Remote for the right candidate)

Compensation: Targeting $30 - $40 per hour based on experience level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and continuously optimize enterprise AI Agents.
  • Build capabilities such as task planning, tool calling, and workflow orchestration using large language models.
  • Integrate AI Agents with enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, OA, supply chain, and order management systems, to automate cross-system business processes.
  • Develop and optimize enterprise system interfaces and Agent tools.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to deploy AI Agent solutions in real-world enterprise scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Java and Python.
  • Experience in large language model application development, with an understanding of prompt engineering and function calling.
  • Hands-on experience with Agent development frameworks, particularly LangGraph and Agent Scope.
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, microservices, and common enterprise system integration methods.
  • Strong system design, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
