Digital Marketing Strategy Co-op

Looking for hands-on experience working alongside experienced consultants, strategists, and digital marketing experts? Genuine, a Boson-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn co-op to support our Strategy team. This co-op offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to brand, digital, & creative strategy initiatives, new business efforts, and agency marketing activities. You will assist across various client and internal projects, developing a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and real-world tools & processes that drive agency growth.  

What You’ll Do: 

  • Gain hands-on experience with frameworks, processes, and systems for crafting effective communication and digital experience strategies by shadowing senior team members and providing support.
  • Participate in strategic sessions and client workshops to facilitate collaboration and ideation.
  • Assist with research for new business pitches, supporting the team with AI-assisted insight gathering and industry research under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Maintain an internal library of new business materials, such as case studies, capability presentations, and other relevant documents.
  • Support the implementation of the agency’s growth strategy, including efforts around marketing, content, and more. 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Avid curiosity, a penchant for critical thinking, and a relentless desire to problem solve  
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, strategy, consulting, and business development.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to actively participate in meetings.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • A proactive approach to learning and seeking out new knowledge and skills. 

 
Bonus Points: 

  • A baseline understanding of digital experience platforms and marketing technology (CMS, CRM).
  • Familiarity with research methodology and tools (site crawls, SEO, content entry, personas, journeys, goal- and KPI-setting).
