The Senior Account Manager oversees daily activities of multiple accounts at Genuine. Reporting to a VP, Group Account Director, the Senior Account Manager is the go-to leader on several accounts. Acting as a strategic and tactical lead, the Senior Account Manager partners with clients to determine their needs and manage their expectations and in turn builds strong relationships with junior to mid-level clients. The Senior Account Manager takes ownership of their accounts, is responsible for driving work forward and helps manage deliverables with the internal team.

What You’ll Do

  • As the main point of contact across several accounts, you will build and grow client relationships serving as the liaison between clients and internal teams and ensuring agency work is meeting client objectives. Comfortable translating technical details to clients and client goals/needs to internal teams
  • Lead small to large projects including in-depth strategic consulting engagements, website design and builds with complex integrations, and omnichannel campaigns. Communicate a clear line of sight between program activities and the broader strategic goals of the client and the agency
  • Become the internal expert on your client’s business
  • Help create client-ready proposals/estimates, strategic recommendations and solutions working with other capabilities
  • Develop statements of work, pricing estimates, and change orders
  • Partner with project managers to effectively manage project timeline, budget and priorities
  • Provide regular project status and budget updates to your clients, ensuring expectations, objectives and next steps are aligned. Constantly anticipating and mitigating potential project risks.
  • Work with all capabilities and understand the role of each relative to different projects/workstreams. Encourage open communication and collaboration within the team, fostering a supportive environment
  • Adapt your communication style to effectively convey information and build rapport with diverse audiences, including clients and internal team members
  • Identify additional client growth opportunities for the agency. Maintain thorough knowledge of Genuine’s capabilities and services and effectively communicate all offerings to clients
  • Mentor and coach others. Provide constructive feedback to team members, supporting their professional development and growth. Seek and integrate client feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall client experience

What You’ll Need

  • 5 plus years of industry experience required
  • Demonstrated success in creating and maintaining positive long-lasting client relationships
  • Deep understanding of the digital landscape (user behavior, channels, platforms)
  • Ability to think critically and analytically while delivering client work
  • Proven track record for successfully managing projects and internal teams
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and team building skills
  • Previous agency experience preferred

The salary range for this position is from $95,000 to $110,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
