Position Overview
As a Product Manager, you’ll contribute to Geocaching’s growth by shaping features that improve user experience, engagement, and retention across both web and mobile platforms. You’ll translate company goals into actionable product work and help deliver meaningful value to our company, and the global community we serve.
You’re hands-on and detail-oriented, skilled at working with cross-functional partners to scope, prioritize, and launch features. You’re comfortable gathering insights from data and user feedback, facilitating collaboration between teams, and helping keep projects aligned with broader business objectives. You bring strong product practices and a user-first mindset to everything you do.
Responsibilities and duties
- Lead product initiatives that directly impact business KPIs like engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Translate user insights into roadmap priorities and MVPs that support company goals.
- Own opportunity spaces, features, experiments, and improvements of our websites and mobile apps.
- Contribute to roadmaps, lead cross-functional teams, and ship features that matter.
- Use data to inform strategy, track results, and iterate.
- Balance geocaching/community experience with sustainable business growth.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and experience
- 3+ years of experience in product management for digital products, ideally in B2C environments.
- Proven ability to prioritize and deliver outcomes that impact business goals.
- Strong communicator and collaborator with an ability to align teams with purpose across disciplines and stakeholders.
- Experience using product delivery tools like JIRA, Miro, Confluence, PowerBI, GA4, and research tools such as Hotjar or Dovetail
- Passion for building meaningful, user-centered products.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a small, resourceful team.
- Bonus: Experience geocaching and interest in outdoor recreation, gaming, or AI technologies.

Compensation and benefits
We carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your experience and internal equity, when determining individual pay. The range for this role is $92,800 to $144,770, with an expected starting range of $92,800 to $118,785. This position is eligible for annual salary increases and bonus (dependent on company & individual performance).
