Geocgi is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support the U.S. Secret Service within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in a hybrid environment based in Washington, DC. This role focuses on leading enterprise testing strategies, automation framework development, and quality assurance processes supporting mission-critical applications and systems. The ideal candidate brings advanced experience in automation testing, QA strategy, and enterprise testing environments, along with the ability to guide testing efforts across complex technical systems.

This position is a Hybrid opportunity with the primary location of performance in Washington DC.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of automated and manual testing strategies across enterprise applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable testing tools.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain testing frameworks across development, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Ensure testing processes are repeatable, scalable, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Estimate testing schedules, effort, and software testing costs.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis across enterprise systems and applications.
  • Mentor QA team members and provide technical guidance across testing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve software quality and deployment readiness.

The following are requirements of the Senior Test Engineer:

  • U.S. Citizen and Active U.S. Passport.
  • DoD Top Secret Clearance (Active or held within the last two years).
  • Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience, Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or 14+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Advanced experience with automation testing frameworks and enterprise QA processes.
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated testing tools and strategies.
  • Experience supporting testing across multiple environments (dev, preprod, prod).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software quality standards.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

The following are preferred of the Senior Test Engineer:

  • Experience supporting geospatial or enterprise operational systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment testing.
  • Experience supporting federal or secure environments.
  • Exposure to performance, integration, or backend testing strategies.

The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $110,000 $145,000 USD. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position.
