What you'll do:
As the Partner Development Manager, you’ll lead the recruitment and growth of new and existing Marketplace Partner relationships, with a focus on expanding the Order Now tier while supporting the Basic and Standard tiers. You’ll develop and execute sales strategies, including marketing campaigns, and ensure a seamless onboarding process for new partners. Additionally, you’ll represent Geotab at industry events, collaborate with internal teams, and provide expertise to drive Marketplace success. Your role will also involve nurturing partner relationships, managing contracts, and gathering feedback to help shape future Marketplace offerings.
How you'll make an impact

Prospect, research, and identify new third-party solutions that are needed for Geotab.

Work with the Geotab Segment team to identify strategic third-party solutions for growth in their segment.

Nurture the relationships with assigned Basic and prospective third-party partners.

Monitor and update partner integration status to provide a pipeline for onboarding to the Geotab Marketplace and Order Now.

Ensure the third-party partners sign contracts and pricing agreements when appropriate.

Effectively communicate the value of Marketplace and Order Now to potential new Partners and persuade them to join the Marketplace ecosystem.

Work cross-functionally to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities to attract new partners and drive engagement within the Marketplace.

Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential third-party partners and stay updated on market developments.

Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with the sales department.

Keep a pulse on the partner onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new partners joining the Marketplace.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Marketplace ecosystem, including competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams and partners on best practices, tools, and strategies for Marketplace success.

Conduct training sessions and workshops for partners to enhance their understanding and utilization of Marketplace solutions.

Serve as a key point of contact for technical and business inquiries from partners, providing timely and accurate responses.

Collaborate with product development teams to relay partner feedback and influence the roadmap for Marketplace features and enhancements.
What you'll bring to the role

Proven track record with 5-8 years of experience in a sales, business development, sales enablement, or account management role.

Demonstrated ability to engage with leads, develop new accounts, and execute strategic business plans.

Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.

Able to anticipate and understand Partner’s needs and provide viable solutions.

A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.

Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through to completion.

Strong analytical and time management skills; an effective multi-tasker.

Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.

Experience in the telematics industry is highly valued.

Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (i.e., SFDC).

Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and leadership.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques to assess partner performance and market trends.

Up to 50% Travel (Passport required and ability to travel internationally)
