Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Training Specialist who will develop and facilitate training for our resellers, customers and employees. This position identifies training needs and develops customized training paths in order to achieve satisfaction and loyalty. You will provide an extensive curriculum to educate our audiences on the use of, sale, support and value of the Geotab product suite, in addition to our Marketplace Partner integration offerings. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As a Training Specialist, your key areas of responsibility will include: assisting in mapping training plans for employees, customers, and resellers. Initiating and delivering comprehensive onboarding processes and technical training to partners and customers. You will also learn while applying new delivery methods with the help of senior training specialists. You will adapt to the training curriculum to diverse audiences and develop material in line with business needs. You will assist in the successful implementation and utilization of the LMS system (myLearning) alongside internal teams while ensuring all materials and services are available.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Bilingual Preferred (English is a must).

  • By possessing a strong aptitude for learning and navigating new software platforms, demonstrating adaptability and quick comprehension of unfamiliar tools while exhibiting a proactive approach to acquiring familiarity with new software, enabling efficient utilization for various tasks and roles.

  • Demonstrating good communication skills by clearly and promptly conveying information both verbally and in writing. Practising active listening to fully understand customer concerns and avoid misunderstandings.

  • Utilizing empathy to connect with customers, and understanding their needs and frustrations to offer basic solutions.

  • You will display patience in handling standard customer interactions, while managing confusion or frustration with guidance.

  • Exhibiting adaptability by remaining flexible and composed when dealing with minor surprises or changes.

  • You will manage unexpected behavior in straightforward situations and adapt to moderately changing scenarios.

  • Maintain a positive and calm demeanor, even in routine stressful situations.

  • By demonstrating basic conflict resolution skills, de-escalating minor issues and guiding customers to acceptable solutions.

  • Upholding professionalism while working towards positive outcomes in typical customer interactions.

  • By possessing a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills with an ability to plan, prioritize and execute tasks in an efficient manner without sacrificing quality, or accuracy.

  • Proactively identifying and resolving moderate challenges independently while demonstrating growing expertise in implementing effective solutions for recurring and emerging issues.

  • Demonstrating thorough product knowledge to accurately answer questions and provide useful advice, ensuring effective and informed customer service.

  • Exhibiting reliability by consistently delivering dependable service that customers can trust and depend on, fostering a sense of confidence and satisfaction among customers.

  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues, sharing information and contributing to team discussions to achieve shared goals.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Bachelors in business or education or applicable work experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related fields may be substituted.
  • 1-3 years of required previous experience in delivering training on a variety of modalities.

When working from home, you are required to have a reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL.
