What you'll do:
As a Senior Revenue Operations Data Analyst your key area of responsibility will be serving as a key business partner to sales, marketing, and customer support teams by building and maintaining robust data products and pipelines, conducting advanced analyses using SQL and statistical tools to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities, meeting with stakeholders to understand business needs, defining data solutions, and leading projects from conception to completion. You will need to work closely with engineering, data science, and technical teams, to ensure data quality and contribute to the development of customer-facing analytics powered by Geotab’s big data environment.
To be successful in this role you will have experience working with big data and an understanding of techniques used to extract value out of very large datasets. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong critical thinking abilities, with experience leveraging data to make well-informed recommendations and decisions with minimal guidance.
How you'll make an impact:

Proactively engage with sales, marketing, and customer support stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.

Develop and present insightful reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for sales and marketing leadership.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for sales, marketing, and customer support teams to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure data integrity and promote best practices.

Analyze sales pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and sales performance to identify trends and strategic opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing to measure campaign ROI and effectiveness, and work with sales to optimize territory and quota setting.

Create and maintain well-defined data products and data pipelines.

Write complex SQL queries to find answers to complex business questions.

Identify any data quality issues and biases in data acquisition.

Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.

Serve as a subject matter expert on data for the RevOps team, providing consultative support to stakeholders on data interpretation and strategic direction.

Leverage and work with machine learning models developed against Geotab’s big data environment.
What you'll bring to the role:

Post-secondary Degree/Diploma specialization in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

5-8 years of technical experience in data-focused roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a similar position, advanced SQL, BI tools such as Superset, Power BI, or Tableau, direct experience with CRM data like Salesforce.

Direct experience with CRM data like Salesforce is required.

Strong experience designing and building ETL pipelines using Google Cloud Platform, Airflow, and other tools to centralize data from various sources.

Experience working with big data and an understanding of techniques used to extract value out of very large datasets.

Experience with database design and writing queries.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve and understand complex technical concepts.

Strategic mindset, with a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.

Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is an asset.
