What you'll do:
As a Solutions Engineer, your key area of responsibility will be driving Geotab’s strategies by developing tools and educational content for internal teams and external partners while advancing ongoing business objectives. You will identify gaps in the product ecosystem, provide alternative solutions, and offer valuable feedback to product and development teams. You will need to work closely with a variety of stakeholders within our sales channels, customer care, product management, and other solutions engineering teams.
To be successful in this role, you will be a customer-focused self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong technical proficiency and business acumen, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while identifying and pursuing potential revenue growth opportunities.
How you'll make an impact:

Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to empower end-users and partners.

Engage and collaborate with partners and end-users to optimize their utilization of Geotab's technology and solutions.

Collaborate with revenue-generating teams as a key technical resource to identify and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges through discovery and technical demonstrations.

Ensure partner and end-user satisfaction through prompt and accurate service and insights.

Support partner upskilling and excellence across unique channels using industry best practices.

Assess and analyze business challenges to identify Geotab’s viability and propose alternative approaches.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of company offerings by providing partner and end-user feedback to the Product team.

Maintain accurate documentation of customer engagements, solution designs, and deliverables.
What you'll bring to the role:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3 - 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Engineering Support, or Software Development.

Technical knowledge of telematics, IoT, APIs (Python, SQL, Java, or C#), and related technologies.

Experience with Agile Work Management (JIRA), CRM tools (Salesforce), and data visualization tools like Power BI.

Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel; a valid passport is required.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to growing market demands.

Geotab offers various perks and benefits and other compensation components that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job. This also includes equity with other team members and alignment with local market data. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work and the individual's ability to pass a background check.
Hiring Range
$80,800 - $99,800 USD
