What you'll do:
As a Compliance Lead your key area of responsibility will be operationalizing our compliance programs and championing a culture of integrity at Geotab. You will need to work closely with compliance leadership to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based ethics and compliance strategy aligned with global business goals.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and adapt to a changing landscape.
How you'll make an impact:
- Collaborate with Compliance leadership to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based ethics and compliance strategy aligned with global business goals.

Lead and conduct thorough, impartial, and timely investigations into allegations of non-compliance, unethical conduct, or violations of our Code of Conduct and other policies.

Lead the drafting, review, and updating of key ethics and compliance policies and procedures, including our Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery, Third-Party Risk Management, Sanctions, Conflicts of Interest, Whistleblower.

Conduct regular ethics and compliance risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.Design and execute risk-based compliance monitoring activities to test effectiveness of the controls.

Act as a champion for our ethical culture, providing clear guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.

Act as a key advisor to the compliance team and business partners, providing expert guidance on a range of topics including Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC), third-party risk, business continuity, records retention and sanctions.

Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (including Legal, Finance, Technology, HR, IT, Operations, and Senior Management) to embed compliance and ethical considerations into business processes.
- Stay abreast of evolving laws, regulations, industry standards, and best practices relevant to ethics and compliance in the technology sector.
What you'll bring to the role:

5-8 years developing and managing ethics and compliance programs, conducting and managing internal investigations into ethics and compliance matters, and leading complex compliance programs and/or sizable cross-functional projects.

Strong understanding of key regulations and compliance best practices relevant to the technology industry.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and adapt to a changing landscape.

Demonstrated analytical skills and the capacity to evaluate complex issues and make well-reasoned decisions.

Demonstrated a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Must have a valid passport.

Bachelors in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - focus on ethics and compliance programs. Professional Certification in CCEP is an asset.
