Lead Product Manager, Incident Management
Who we are:
Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Incident Management who will own the end-to-end strategy for one of our most critical safety offerings, balancing the refinement of existing Collision Detection algorithms with the pioneering of a brand-new Post-Collision Workflow. The projects will vary in scope, complexity, and affected business area, requiring a builder who thrives on autonomy and is capable of navigating undefined territory to deliver a seamless safety experience. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
What you'll do:
As a Lead Product Manager, Incident Management, your key area of responsibility will be acting as the technical and strategic captain to "right the ship" regarding collision accuracy while simultaneously building new revenue-generating workflows from scratch. You will be responsible for directing external contractor teams, managing complex backlogs in Jira/JPD, and implementing data-backed improvements to reduce "false positive" alerts. You will also need to work closely with internal Engineering and Data Science teams, external development partners, and Global Sales and Solutions Engineering leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly autonomous leader with operational grit and a turnaround mindset, capable of absorbing pressure from stakeholders while methodically rebuilding credibility. In addition, the successful candidate will have deep technical and data fluency, with the ability to independently query raw data via SQL to validate improvements. You must be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities—specifically balancing critical accuracy fixes with new feature development—to ensure rapid delivery and the restoration of organizational trust.
How you'll make an impact

Shape the strategic infrastructure needed to support and scale new and existing revenue streams across Geotab’s business, while driving a deeper understanding of market dynamics and customer needs to maximize the impact of telematics solutions in transforming their operations.
-
Drive the strategic vision behind multiple product roadmaps, ensuring cross-functional alignment and prioritization across teams, while shaping long-term business growth and influencing the overall product direction at the highest level.
-
Lead high-impact customer discovery initiatives and mentor other team members in conducting interviews to refine value propositions and product fit.
-
Define prioritization frameworks to ensure alignment between long-term strategy and business objectives.
-
Establish advanced reporting and monitoring frameworks that measure success (both qualitative and quantitative) across multiple product dimensions.
-
Design and implement feedback loops at scale, ensuring continuous alignment with market needs.
-
Ensure company-wide understanding of product efforts, regularly communicating the "Why" at senior leadership forums and cross-departmental meetings.
-
Lead complex problem and solution validation, ensuring strategic alignment and providing direction on critical solutions.
-
Oversee the translation of needs into detailed epics and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.
-
Work closely with technical project managers toward execution.
-
Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and internal teams to continuously make improvements to products that are launched.
-
Lead efforts to enhance product management frameworks, mentoring other product managers and contributing to company-wide initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role
-
10+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 8+ years specifically in Product Management leading technical or data-heavy products.
-
Mandatory experience in Vendor Management, managing external contractors, agencies, or offshore development teams to ensure quality and timeline adherence.
