Geotab is seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Manager — a technical marketing leader who owns the engine that helps Marketing drive prospect and lead engagement, ultimately translating into pipeline growth. This role is will lead the building of and ongoing management of a scalable marketing automation strategy that maximizes the effectiveness of our marketing automation platform and its integrations with our CRM; supports Marketing’s objective of driving MRR pipeline by devising effective nurture strategies to increase the conversion velocity of prospects to qualified leads for Sales; plays a key role in reviewing and improving lead data hygiene to drive better quality leads. What you'll do:
The Senior Marketing Automation Manager is an integral player, working closely across all Marketing teams to deliver full-lifecycle engagement across the entire prospect, customer, and partner journey. They will also be a key contributor to the delivery of all partner communications, including product announcements, updates, and events, on a global basis.
How you'll make an impact:

Be the SME for the marketing automation process: own the marketing automation platform to ensure its full capabilities are leveraged and continually improved upon to maximize Geotab’s engagement with its prospects.

Partner with the broader marketing team to build the strategic segment and horizontal engagement tactics to drive lead conversion velocity.

Deliver automated journeys that ensure that 100% of eligible prospects are engaged in proactive, relevant nurture tracks that recognizes their purchasing behaviours, and key pain points in order to deliver appropriate interactions that drive towards faster lead qualification.

Incorporate and leverage AI agents to: identify target prospects faster; create dynamic content that respond to triggers based on their online and offline interactions; create automated journeys incorporating emails, SMS notifications, online interactions to drive conversion; and continual testing to optimize all engagement tactics.

Continuously improve Marketing Automation implementation by integrating and gathering insights from all relevant internal and external data sources.

Regularly review Geotab’s subscriber, segmentation, suppression lists, email calendar and frequency across all audiences, and ensure that all subscribers and email lists include individual preferences for customization and optimization.

Maintain Marketing Automation integration with Salesforce CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software.

Monitor and deliver campaign metrics to inform key stakeholders and enable continual improvements.
What you'll bring to this role:
-
3-5 years experience in marketing automation roles, with hands-on experience in building / deploying campaign automations.

5-7 years experience in marketing, with familiarity of B2B marketing to enterprise businesses. in the following areas:

Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Business, Marketing or a related field.

Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted.

Demonstrated familiarity of B2B marketing to enterprise businesses.

Proven success at owning and delivering the Marketing Automation strategy.

Extensive hands-on experience working with MAPs (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Hubspot, Eloqua)

Ability to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new strategies, moving fast and taking ownership of results.

Expert knowledge of database management concepts and best practices.

Strong knowledge of lead generation, campaign delivery, conversion rate optimization, and marketing automation implementation best practices.

Detailed knowledge of data privacy laws and email regulations, best practices, and compliance including but not limited to GDPR, CASL etc.

Experience creating and managing drip campaigns and customer segments.

Ability to write SQL coding for email automation.

Able to deliver results in time-sensitive situations and respond efficiently to changing priorities and deadlines.

Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
