Geotab is seeking a Senior Deal Desk Manager who will lead commercial deal review and pricing negotiation across Geotab's reseller and direct customer base. What you'll do:
As a Senior Deal Desk Manager your key area of responsibility will be serving as the primary decision-making authority for non-standard pricing requests, complex reseller RFPs, and commercial agreement structuring. You will need to work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Finance. To be successful in this role you will be a strong team-player, self-motivated leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and excellent communication skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities to assess pricing risk, and success in coaching and developing employees.
How you'll make an impact:
- Provide strategic oversight and decision-making authority for; Non-standard pricing requests across global regions, Complex reseller RFPs requiring custom pricing strategies and Commercial terms proposed in agreements or pricing amendments.
- Lead commercial negotiations with Sales, Resellers, and direct customers to finalize non-standard pricing agreements, amendments, and deal structures.
- Manage and prioritize the deal desk queue, ensuring timely review and resolution within defined SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to ensure deal structures are operationally executable and compliant with established commercial policies.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary escalation point for complex deal scenarios requiring senior-level commercial judgment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Deal Desk team members, sharing expertise and best practices to support their professional development.
- Set clear team priorities on cases, assign work strategically, and ensure timely case resolution.
- Work with leadership to share performance feedback, support professional development, and identify training opportunities.
- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role:
- 5-8 years experience in a deal desk, commercial pricing, or similar role in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing and structure complex deals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess pricing risk and make well-judged decisions.
- Experience with CPQ or deal management platforms; DealHub experience preferred.
- Leadership experience in a team-oriented workplace.
- Strong interpersonal relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Success with coaching and development of employees.
- Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strategic mindset, has a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Excel.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.

The annual base salary for this position is the expected annual salary for this role, and may be subject to change. Geotab offers various perks and benefits and other compensation components that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job. This also includes equity with other team members and alignment with local market data. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work and the individual's ability to pass a background check.
Hiring Range
$116,200 - $155,000 CAD
