As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in expanding and maintaining Built’s customer base within our Non-Bank space. In addition to driving results, you will lead and mentor a team, ensuring they excel in generating new opportunities, exceeding quotas, and solving real client challenges. Experience in SaaS communication and enterprise sales leadership is essential.
In This Role, You Will:
- Oversee a team of Enterprise Account Executives and BDRs, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve team and organizational objectives
- Coordinate and oversee customer-facing activities, including discovery calls, demos, and proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and business goals
- Conduct extensive research on non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) and lead the sales process with industry-leading insights
- Work closely with implementation, client success, support, and product teams to ensure optimal product execution and an exceptional customer experience
- Attend and represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, positioning Built as a market leader
- Utilize CRM tools to analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Collaborate with senior sales leadership and the marketing team to create and implement strategies that align with company objectives.
- Mentor your team to continuously improve execution and grow their skill sets, ensuring they deliver world-class performance
- Quickly ramp up on Built’s solutions to effectively support your team in establishing trust and credibility with executives at target accounts
- Encourage team members to pursue personal and professional development related to sales techniques, strategies, and industry trends
- Lead your team in dynamically adjusting approaches to meet evolving customer and market needs.
- Act as a bridge between your team and internal departments, ensuring alignment and smooth communication
Qualifications:
- 5 - 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in SaaS or enterprise sales
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to exceed sales targets
- World-class listening skills and the ability to provide actionable feedback to team members
- Unquestionable integrity with a client-first mindset
- Exceptional organizational and process-improvement skills
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
Built’s salary range for this position is $160,000 - 180,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package at Built will include equity, top-notch medical, dental and vision coverage, an unlimited PTO policy, and other benefits.
