Built Technologies is seeking a Product Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team and play a key role in understanding user interactions with our products. Reporting to the Director of Data Science and Analytics, you will be responsible for analyzing front-end data, uncovering user behavior insights, and partnering with product teams to drive data-informed decisions. Your work will directly influence product strategy, feature enhancements, and overall user experience by translating complex data into actionable recommendations. ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will:
- Analyze front-end user data to identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities for product improvements.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to provide data-driven insights that inform product decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track product performance and user engagement.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to measure the impact of product changes and new features.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data integrity, collection, and accessibility for accurate analysis.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders across the organization.
- Present findings and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline).
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, product analytics, or a related field (internships or academic projects may be considered).
- Proficiency in SQL to query and analyze data from relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) to create dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
- Excellent communication skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Built’s salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees.
