About this Role
As Built continues to grow, so does the complexity of forecasting, monetization, and financial analysis. As a Senior FP&A Analyst focused on our Owner General Contractor (OGC) segment, you will take ownership of revenue forecasting and commercial analytics to support one of our largest business areas. You’ll manage the forecasting cycle (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and partner closely with Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, Analytics, and Accounting to ensure bookings, churn, and expansion insights are accurately reflected in financial outcomes.
Beyond forecasting, you’ll contribute to GTM capacity modeling, usage-based revenue analytics, and monetization assessments. Your work will drive visibility into SaaS KPIs, provide actionable insights for leadership, and strengthen the financial foundation of a scaling SaaS company.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working cross-functionally, and building expertise in SaaS financial models. You’ll be challenged, supported, and empowered to grow your FP&A career while making a measurable impact on Built’s success.
What You’ll Do
- Support and own the OGC revenue forecasting lifecycle: monthly, quarterly, annual forecasts, and long-range planning.
- Build and enhance financial models in Planful (or similar tools) to track bookings, billings, churn, and retention.
- Analyze cohort-level revenue performance by segment, product, and channel to identify expansion, contraction, and churn drivers.
- Partner with Product, Pricing, and Revenue teams to evaluate monetization strategies, pricing changes, and financial impacts.
- Ensure forecasts are consistent with internal policies and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Collaborate across Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success to validate assumptions and align operational metrics with financial outcomes.
- Monitor SaaS KPIs (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, subscription vs usage) and provide clear reporting on performance trends.
- Prepare variance analyses and KPI dashboards for Finance and leadership, surfacing risks, opportunities, and key drivers.
- Support scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to inform growth and capacity planning initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy through system enhancements, automation, and AI-driven tools.
What Inspires Success in This Role
- 5+ years of finance experience, with 2–3 years in SaaS revenue forecasting and FP&A.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with tools like Planful, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort working in large datasets; SQL or BI tool experience (e.g., Sigma) a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and pipeline forecasting.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models (subscription and usage-based pricing).
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective communicator and collaborator across teams and levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
