Hybrid role - 4 days per week in our new Waterloo office.
This is a brand-new opportunity at GetGround. We're looking for an Investment Associate to help us drive revenue in our property sales and sourcing business line, helping some of our institutional clients deploy their capital across the country and sourcing high-ROI investment opportunities for our customers across all residential real estate investment strategies (HMO, BRR, BTL, etc.). Property sourcing is one of the company’s big bets in 2025, this role will be at the forefront of this activity, owning the P&L for an already rapidly growing area, and driving innovation within our marketplace.
This is a chance for a motivated professional to build their property investment career in a fast-paced, technology-driven scale-up. Our Sales & Marketplace team is led by Jorge, our Commercial Director (ex-Google, ex-3i Private Equity).
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with investment partners: Identify, assess, and project manage capital deployment into UK property.
- Property sourcing: Through our sourcing partners and by researching in the open market, find unique investment opportunities for our institutional investor partners and our retail customers.
- Sales enablement: Empower the sales organisation to sell properties in our portfolio by training and equipping them with data, analytics, and insights to deliver the best support to our customers.
- Deliver actionable insights: Prepare financial analyses, models, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum three years of relevant experience.
- Experience: Proven background in financial modelling and analysis, ideally in property investment or a related field.
- Communication skills: Ability to distil complex financial data into clear, compelling investment summaries.
- Confidence: Skilled at presenting to senior external investors and internal leadership.
- Ambition: A drive to grow your career in property investment while continually developing your expertise.
- Commercial mindset: A sharp eye for identifying and executing high-value business opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with property investment processes and deal structures.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK property market, including regional nuances.
- Exposure to property-related investments or similar markets.
