About GetWhys

GetWhys is a VC-backed SaaS company building AI-powered customer research and messaging tools for product marketers. Our products help companies like Docker, Docusign, and Commvault understand their customers and craft better messaging. We're a small team that’s growing quickly—our ARR grew over 10x in 2025—by shipping a strongly differentiated SaaS product.

The Role

We're looking for our first GTM engineer to build tooling and systems that support our lead generation motion.

For context:

  • We’ve built a rich, ever-compounding dataset of information that is interesting to our target audience (typically, insights about their target market or competition).
  • Over the past year, we have used that information to scale lead generation through a predominantly manual process.
    • Our “Insight-Led BDR” team uses the product we’ve built for customers to craft high-engagement content for our target audience.
  • You will create software that turns target customers into pilots, and pilots into customers.
    • This may be by building net-new applications, deeper integrations with our existing systems, and/or analysis that helps us optimize our insight-led growth efforts.

You’ll transform Insight-Led Growth from an art to a science.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. You’ll report to our cofounder & CTO, but work closely with our CEO.

What You'll Own

Insight-Led Growth Applications

  • You’ll design and build the products and tools to accelerate GetWhys’ go-to-market efforts.
  • Replace manual, repetitive sales process with fast, reliable and transparent workflows.
  • Identify the highest-impact friction points in GTM execution and deliver solutions and track improvements in accuracy, reliability and efficiency.
  • Build the automation that enables scalable execution across our GTM teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience as a software/automation/GTM engineer working on user-facing systems.
  • Previous experience supporting Sales, Customer Success and Partners teams is a plus.
  • Fluent in Javascript and comfortable with building full-stack applications.
  • Early engineer at a startup who built a product from scratch is a plus.
  • Have built or prototyped LLM powered workflows using major foundation models such as OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, DeepSeek.
  • Someone who can connect systems confidently. You design around APIs, webhooks, and integrate systems.

Benefits

  • Healthcare, Dental, and Vision insurance (90% of your deductible, 75% of your dependents’)
  • 401(k) with 3% company match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave
  • 18 company holidays, with unlimited PTO
    • Our suggested minimum is at least 10 business days of PTO per year.
  • We’re a historically remote company; Boise is one of our first hubs.
    • We’ll always be remote friendly (e.g., no “X days in office”).
    • Regular team- and company-wide in person gatherings.
  • Ground-floor opportunity to build and lead a critical function at a growing startup

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
