About GetWhys

GetWhys is a VC-backed SaaS company building AI-powered customer research and messaging tools for product marketers. Our products help companies like Docker, Docusign, and Commvault understand their customers and craft better messaging. We're a small team that’s growing quickly—our ARR grew over 10x in 2025—by shipping a strongly differentiated SaaS product.

The Role

Location: Boise, ID (Hybrid)

Compensation: $150k-$165k + equity

We’re looking for a content-forward Product Marketer to own our product narrative and turn customer insight into compelling, high-leverage content across the funnel. You will be hands-on producing thought leadership, persona-driven content, and product stories that fuel demand generation, sales, and our broader insight-led growth motion.

You’ll sit at the intersection of product marketing, storytelling, and execution, working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with significant ownership.

What You’ll Own

Content & Thought Leadership

You’ll collaborate on the creation of high-quality, product-aligned content that communicates GetWhys’ value clearly and persuasively:

  • White papers, e-books, and industry POVs rooted in customer insight
  • Case studies: customer interviews, narrative development, and final packaging
  • Persona specific landing pages and website sections
  • Product and feature launch content
  • Blog posts and long-form editorial content
  • Social content for thought leadership, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn

You’ll translate positioning and customer insight into narrative content that resonates deeply with each target persona.

Product Marketing Strategy

You’ll build and maintain the foundations that make our content effective:

  • Create and evolve product messaging, value propositions, and differentiation
  • Own persona development, including pains, jobs-to-be-done, and messaging frameworks
  • Enable Sales with strong product-content assets: one-pagers, decks, and competitive content
  • Partner closely with Product to influence the roadmap and turn features into compelling stories customers actually care about

Campaign Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to execute multi-channel campaigns with strong content foundations
  • Manage content calendars and ensure consistency in voice, narrative, and positioning across channels
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Leadership to align on messaging priorities

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Content Marketing, or a closely related role in B2B SaaS. Ideally, you’ve done both Content and Product Marketing.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality, written content that connects product value to customer pain
  • Strong storytelling instincts paired with strategic thinking around positioning and personas
  • Experience supporting Sales with customer-facing assets and messaging
  • Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup is a strong plus
  • Someone who can own the narrative end-to-end, from blank page to published asset
  • Ideally, experience marketing to other marketers.

Benefits

  • Healthcare, Dental, and Vision insurance (90% of your deductible, 75% of your dependents')
  • 401(k) with 3% company match
  • Unlimited PTO (suggested minimum 10 business days per year)
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave
  • 18 company holidays, with unlimited PTO
    • Our suggested minimum is at least 10 business days of PTO per year.
  • We're a historically remote company with hubs in Portland, NYC, Boise, and Bozeman
    • We'll always be remote friendly (e.g., no "X days in office")
    • Regular team- and company-wide in person gatherings
