Based in London, the Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. In addition to strong networking expertise, the ideal candidate will provide technical support and administration for Microsoft 365 and Entra Active Directory (Entra AD) environments. This hybrid role is essential to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and productivity across our organization.

This role reports to the Supervisor, International IT Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
  • Manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
  • Implement and enforce, in accordance with the firm’s InfoSec team, network security policies, including access controls, encryption.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) for end users.
  • Administer and maintain Entra Active Directory (Azure AD), including user and group management, conditional access, and security policies.
  • Assist with identity and access management, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to support projects, upgrades, and migrations involving both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for network, Microsoft 365, and Entra AD-related incidents and service requests.
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellence in customer support and secure customer cooperation under pressure conditions.
  • Support other IS projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Must have experience supporting a contemporary, highly resilient, cloud-based (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS), including, but not limited to, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, M365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote), Intune, SCCM, iManage 10 cloud, Druva,
  • Hands-on experience with network devices.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and support.
  • Experience managing and configuring Microsoft Active Directory and Entra AD (Azure Active Directory) environments.
  • Understanding of identity and access management, security best practices, and cloud technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
