As a Business Development Manager focused on the renewables vertical, you will be the driving force behind Giga’s growth in the clean energy sector. You’ll own the full sales cycle for renewable energy developers, EPCs, and integrators across solar, wind, and energy storage projects—connecting customer needs with Giga’s transformer and switchboard solutions. Your success will come from developing strong relationships, understanding technical requirements, and delivering high-quality service from quote to close. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role at the intersection of renewable energy, technology, and electrical infrastructure.
Where You’ll Work
This role will be remote if based outside one of our Houston, Long Beach, or San Francisco offices. You must be willing to work in the office full-time, outside of our bi-weekly WFH Fridays.
Responsibilities

- Own account-level P&L performance, driving both revenue growth and margin optimization through strategic pricing and deal structuring.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and across the renewables ecosystem, including referrals, branch introductions, and new partnerships.
- Maintain an accurate and current sales pipeline in Hubspot, including detailed opportunity tracking, activity logging, and forecasting.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, providing feedback to internal teams to help shape Giga’s go-to-market and product strategies.
- Collaborate with Finance to process purchase orders and invoices, ensuring details are accurate and payments are collected on schedule.
- Lead bi-weekly updates to go-to-market leadership with insights on key accounts, pipeline performance, and strategic initiatives.
