What you’ll do

As an Inside Sales Representative at Giga, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by managing incoming sales opportunities and delivering timely, accurate quotes. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our prospects and customers, ensuring their technical and commercial needs are understood and addressed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys working across teams to close deals and support our broader sales organization.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in one of our Houston or Greenville offices. You must be willing to work in the office full-time, outside of our bi-weekly WFH Fridays. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound and assigned sales opportunities by understanding customer needs, pain points, and objectives
  • Receive RFQs, promptly respond to customer inquiries, and follow up consistently via email and phone
  • Create accurate, timely quotes using internal tools, based on customer requirements and technical specifications
  • Review bid documents and technical specifications to ensure alignment with our product and manufacturing capabilities
  • Collaborate with Application Engineering to develop technical content and pricing for complex quotations
  • Maintain detailed records in the CRM, ensuring visibility and accuracy across the sales team
  • Support Outside Sales, Account Managers, and Business Development Representatives by providing product and pricing guidance
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and commercial information
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and quoting
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand electrical infrastructure products and specifications
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales, sales support, or quoting role

Bonus points 

  • Experience in B2B or technical product sales
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment (transformers, switchboards, modular data centers)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • Previous experience working closely with engineering or technical teams
